China Online Advertising Market Share of Top 4 Portals
Tencent’s online advertising market share in Q3 this year has increased by 5% to 25% since Q3 2008, catching up with Sohu (30%). Sina is still the leading web portal in online advertising with a market share of 38%, dropped by 5% compared with Q3, 2008. NetEase’s market share has also dropped slightly from 9% to 7%.
