9911MySpace China’s microblogging platform 9911.com has recently enabled its users to update by sending multimedia messages (MMS) to 15811219911 (mobile number).

9911 users currently can update their status by seven ways:

  • update from website 9911.com
  • mobile internet m.9911.com
  • SMS to 158 1121 9911
  • MMS to 158 1121 9911
  • MSN messenger
  • Desktop client
  • Syndicate from other accounts
    • twitter
    • sina microblogs (t.sina.com.cn)
    • digu.com
    • zuosa.com (“zuosa” means “what are you doing” in Chinese)
    • kaixin001.com
    • renren.com
    • 51.com

MySpace China launched 9911.com, a twitter clone site this June. 9911 tried to differentiate itself by associating with musicians. Microblogging is heating up in China!
