4 Chinese Companies among Top 50 Most Innovative Companies 2010

This could be a surprise to some people; but this recent survey conducted by Boston Consulting Group put four Chinese companies on top innovative company list.

8. BYD
28. Haier Electronics
30. Lenovo
44. China Mobile

Apple reigns as No. 1 again, trailed by silver medalist Google. And Microsoft and IBM find themselves back in the top five, based on BCG’s global poll.

Unfortunately, the table doesn’t show how it measures innovation. They are all mostly giant companies in there. Where would the likes of tencent, netease, shanda feature, what about Western companies like Zynga?
