Baidu is testing PPC sitelinks extension with Xijing

Baidu newly developed a PPC product called Xijing which is still in beta and similar to Google sitelinks extension.

Xijing displays on the left side of the search result page above the other SERPs. Different from “Baidu Promotion”, “Baidu Sponsor Link” and “Right Side Ads”, Xijing presents more information.

Besides title, description line 1 and line 2, Xijing allows three more text links directing to the different landing pages. Xijing makes sense to the advertisers that have multiple product lines, have several sub pages.

It is not clear whether it will be charged by fixed CPC like Baidu Targetisement, or the auction model. This product may be only available to advertisers in certain industries.
