1/4 Internet Users in China Log in Tencent QQ at the same time

According to Tencent’s latest released data, its QQ instant messenger service reached 80 million simultaneous online users at 8pm on Oct 10, 2009.  As China now has about 338 million Internet users (according to CNNIC’s latest report), it means one quarter of total Internet users in China log in QQ messenger at the same time.

Tencent’s QZone Shows Great Social Networking Potential

According to a report Tencent published a week ago, its QZone’s monthly active users have achieved over 200 million, claiming to be the biggest social networking site in the world (Facebook: 175 million monthly active users).
