Based on Analysis' data from 2010 till 2016, the consumption structure in China is changing. Non-based needs consumption is decreasing. For example, food consumption in the urban area dropped to 29.3% in 2016 from 35.7% in 2010; and, that in the rural area also dropped from 41.1% to 29.8% in the same period.
