Sogou Company History
On September 16, 2013, Tencent injected 448 million US dollars into Sogou. The original Tencent Soso (search engine) business and other related assets were merged into Sogou. After the transaction was completed, Tencent immediately obtained 36.5% of the shares of Sogou.
On November 8th, 2015, Sogou and China's Q&A community Zhihu in-depth cooperation was officially announced.
On November 9, 2017, Sogou was listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
