China online advertising market reached 62.89 billion yuan (US$9.23 bn) in the first quarter of 2017 with an increase of 15.9% YoY or -10.5% QoQ, led by Alibaba, Baidu, and Tencent.

Baidu had about 451,000 active online marketing customers in Q1 2017, representing a 23.2% decrease from Q1 2016. Its online marketing revenues for Q1 2017 were RMB14.738 billion ($2.141 billion), representing a 1.3% decrease from the corresponding period in 2016.
Tencent’s online advertising revenues increased by 47% YoY to 6,888 million yuan in Q1 2017 while its media advertising revenues increased by 20% YoY to 2,509 million yuan.
