The monthly active users (MAU) of WeChat increased by 8.2% YoY or 3.2% QoQ to 1.2 billion in the first quarter of 2020, according to Tencent’s financial results. Smart device MAU of QQ decreased by 1% to 693.5 million.
Tencent’s revenues in the last quarter of 2019 reached US$15,161 million, an increase of 25% YoY. Monthly active users (MAU) of WeChat grew to 1,164.8 million, up 6.1% YoY. Smart device MAU of QQ was 647 million, down 7.5% YoY.

Tencent’s social media platform WeChat MAU grew to 1.15 billion and QQ mobile MAU 653.4 million in Q3 2019. WeChat Mini Programs DAU exceeded 300 million. Tencent revenues increased by 21% year-on-year, primarily driven by commercial payment services and other FinTech services, smart phone games, as well as social advertising.
