Web Based QQ

Tencent has launched its web based QQ and the interface is pretty neat with shorcuts functions.

Interestingly, after logging in, it shows list of friends with the latest status update. Clicking on the friend’s name will activate a pop up chat box; why don’t they just make it more convenient to make it possible to “reply” to the status update? Or comment?
